My name is Katerina Vashchilko, and I founded Maymont in 2020. Before that I worked as a practicing international lawyer and earned a Master’s degree in law. But at some point, I realized I wanted to speak to the world not through legal texts — but through beauty.

I didn’t leave law behind — I carried the best of it with me. Structure, responsibility, and the drive to bring every idea to life. These values became the foundation of my brand. But most importantly, I started designing clothes for myself. The kind of pieces I wanted to wear every day. That’s why each garment reflects my honesty, my taste, and my rhythm of life.

Maymont became the first Belarusian brand to show at New York Fashion Week. And today, I’m proud to have opened the first Maymont store in the U.S. It’s the result of dedication and vision. But in truth — my brand has given me more than I ever imagined. It gave me a path, a purpose, and a new sense of home.
